Our Story

Welcome to Portugual Tasty Desserts, where we, Neilo and Teresa, bring a taste of Portugal to America.

Our family has a rich local history in baking, with Teresa's mother sweet bread being so popular, in Santa Clara, that her parents had to open a store to keep up with the demands. Now, we are continuing this traditions by bringing back the family's favorites and sharing the great food of Portugal with our community.

From our tradional Portuguese pastries to our linguica sandwhiches everything is made with tradition and care. Our menu includes a wide variety of treats and goods imported straight from Portugal.

We take pride in being a part of our local community where we both worked in the Santa Clara School Systems for decades. Whether you are stopping in for a quick sweet custard tart or the unique Portuguese cheese made in the Mid Atlantic climate, we are dedicated to providing you with a warm and welcoming experience!
